Set up your first offer
- Install from CartLadder’s Shopify App Store listing and open the app in Shopify Admin.
- Create an offer, select eligible products and configure its discount rules. Activate the offer.
- Open Theme setup in the app. In Shopify’s theme editor add the Bundle offers app block to Product information and click Save. Repeat for custom product templates you use.
- Keep Automatic placement on to place the offer before the purchase form. Turn it off to keep the position selected in the theme editor.
- Preview an eligible product, select every offer threshold, and compare the cart and checkout prices. Enter separate names on every personalized item.
Theme changes and missing offers
A newly published theme needs its own app block. Confirm the offer is active, synchronized, within its dates and targets the product. The setup screen distinguishes a preview theme from the published theme. When no active offer is available, normal theme purchase buttons remain available.
Personalized items
Enable Collect details for each item in the offer editor. Up to three text fields and 50 items per selection are supported. Buy two items to enter two independent names. The details appear as Shopify cart and order line properties. Return to the product offer to enter a different name for an additional item; increasing an existing cart line’s quantity keeps that line’s current properties. File uploads require the original product form.
Offer scope
Quantity breaks support percentage or fixed-per-unit discounts. BOGO currently supports one selected product, one-time purchases and one reward application per order. The app does not automatically choose a gift, mix different products into a bundle, or report attributed revenue.
Before uninstalling
Pause or delete active offers in CartLadder before uninstalling, then confirm their status in Shopify Discounts. BOGO offers use Shopify’s native discounts, so review them in Discounts when removing the app. Uninstall removes the app’s local records; do not assume it reverses an already completed order.
Client stores and updates
An approved public app can be installed separately on each client store with the store owner’s authorization. Each store has its own offers, setup and plan. Service and extension updates are delivered centrally; a normal update does not require every merchant to reinstall.
